Nara Promotionz organizes its first ever Charity boxing event for needy clubs, women boxers

Nara Promotionz has organized its first ever Charity boxing event where all money profited from the event will go to the development of the boxing fraternity especially the women in the game.

Addressing a press conference, the chairperson of Nara promotionz, Lubowa Babu Hussein  said the event that will take place on 25th, June, 2021 at Fast Sports Fusion, Bugolobi will help in fundraising towards helping and uplifting needy boxing communities.

All the funds collected will be donated to clubs which include:  UPDF boxing club, Kyengera boxing club, East Coast boxing club, Kalerwe Boxing Club and Tusimbudde Uganda organization in abide to uplift female boxers.

“The proceeds will help the clubs with the purchase of among other things, training kits, and boxing facilities for women and youths, boxing promotion for professional fighters and medical insurance for performing and retired boxers.” Said Lubowa

Event organisers receiving a dame cheque of 10 million from ParagonBet for sponsorship of the event

The main fights will include:  John JST Sserunjogi Vs Muduuda Kalifani, Musa Ntege Vs Saidi Chako, Abdul Sebute Vs Iga Remmy, Lady (UPDF) Vs Lady (East coast).

The under cards fights will include: Seguya Mubarak Vs Tuwuliza Farouq, John “ Weekend” Katongole Vs Kalenzi Jowali , Muhammad Ali Sserunkuma Vs Kayiwa Jamil and Iga Juma Vs Mutumwa James.

The Amateur fights will include: Lady (UPDF) Vs Lady (Kyengera), Lady (UPDF) Vs Lady (Kalerwe), and Lady (East coast) Vs Lady (Kyengera)

Meanwhile Babu called for more sponsorship of the event and also thanked those already on board who include: Paragon bet, Fast sports fusion, WARDZ modeling agency, Metro FM, Pink foods, Goodluck promotions and UPDF
