Celebrated journalist Ssentogo Fredrick Lugonvu alias Mwana wa Taata has finally revealed on the telephone interview why he threw in towel at city pastor Aloysius Bugingo owned Salt media.

Lugonvu who undoubtedly has been the most holding brand at Salt media set up his own all in one ceremonial events company dubbed “The Vibes Ceremonial Events limited” with its offices located at Ham towers, 3rd floor at Makerere, Kampala.
The company offers ceremonial services like providing tents, chairs, sound systems, decoration, events planning and Master of ceremonies of all kinds of events.
The soft speaking Lugonvu also revealed that he will not be joining any other media house at the moment despite the many juicy deals brought to him since he has moved past the stage of employee to employer.
He adds that his appearances on media will be in terms of consultancy or self- paid initiated programs meaning that the media houses shall have no control over them.
When our reporter visited his offices at Ham towers for fact check, he was unable to see him due the many appointments Lugonvu was attending to and they vivid at the reception.
Known for his great on point analysis and lively news anchoring style, with a calm but bold voice, Lugonvu has been the host of Omusunsuuzi program that has been airing Monday to Thursday at 11pm, featuring veteran journalists Sirajje Lubwama and Omulangira Jjunju Francis. He has also been a News anchor of Omunnyo Ku Ssatu and commentator of the Brain power segment in the television’s news at Salt media, where he has worked since 2017.
Before joining Salt media in 2017, he worked with Veteran politician Capt. Edward Francis Babu’s Metro Fm where he was a brand news anchor as well.
