Ministry of Internal Affairs appoints new spokesperson

The ministry of Internal Affairs has appointed Simon Peter Mundeyi as the new spokesperson to replace Jacob Siminyu.

The appointment has been communicated by Jacob Siminyu who has served in the same position for nine years during a  has been appointed as the new spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs to replace Jacob Siminyu who has served in the position for the last nine years during the Monday joint security meeting press briefing at Nagulu.

Mundeyi has been the officer in charge of operations in the passport office hence he brings a wealth of experience to the new office.

Meanwhile, Siminyu has been was appointed the new Jinja regional immigration officer and will be in charge of all the immigration officers in the region.

.The new appointments take immediate effect.
