FDC Women’s league elects new leadership

On Thursday evening the opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) concluded the election of its Women league leadership.

The elections were conducted by the FDC Electoral Commission led by the Chief commissioner Boniface Toterebuka Bamwenda at the party headquarters, Najjankumbi Kampala.

In a highly competitive race, Kisakye Agnes was elected the Chairperson women league, vice chairperson- east Kadama Juliet Agnes, vice chairperson- central Nanfuka Zam, vice chairperson- north Kia Florence Elupu, vice chairperson- western Kabasiita Beatrice Adyeri

Secretary General Nairuba Oliver, treasurer general Lunkuse Dorothy, secretary for research and policy Akullu Judith Joan

Other include legal human rights and constitutional affairs Oroma Janet, education, sports and students Ayo Mercy, health and environment Nyangoma Teddy, secretary for mobilisation Biira Esther
