A story is told of a gangster chief ‘Snake’ who used to send his boys to go and carry out errands to steal from bank customers.
The missions would involve hundreds of millions of shillings.
The chief gangster never personally participated in the robbery but alwys received money and other proceeds after the mission is executed!
When for instance they steal 300m, they take the money to the leader and he gives them 3 million to share among themselves and he takes the balance!
Then when the boys were arrested asked why were they taking so little yet their lives were at stake and the gangster chief took the lions share?
He answered politely that in this business the first thing we are taught is to ɓe honest!!!!
At the CBS end of year ‘ENKUUKA TOBONGOOTA’ i was frustrated and puzzled when goons tried to refuse the Katikiro to speak waving Bobi wine pictures and placards!
They went ahead and obstructed, belittled the Naalinya who was Kabaka’s representative at the annual event in the Presence of heir apparent Ssemakookilo!!
The opposition in doing this, by Implication means that Kyagulanyi now is more important than Kabaka and Katikiro!
I have never witnessed so many fools gathered in one single place and pretendingto be happy!!!!
What is the agenda of the opposition now? Take over Museveni or Kabaka?
When Ray G because of his tribe came to showcase his talent and sing he was pelted with water bottles and probably stones!
Who is going around promising national leadership without the different tribes? Will the Baganda artist ever go in other regions to make money?
What if Babie Kyagulanyi showed up on stage? Were they going to undress her or they’re already plotting to get Hon.Kyagulanyi another palatable wife?
I grew up seeing my parents hating President Amin and all were happy when he went.
Then during the war I saw the same parents hating Obote!
Now am old, it is Museveni and the hating business is on! Is this a ‘ player haters’ region?
Now they have started Kabaka!!
Is this a new party of fools who go to steal today and call themselves honest next day!
Government is like a borehole with elected committee Chairman as President, if you refuse to access water till the borehole committee chairperson is changed its you to suffer and your family.
The trick should be, befriend the borehole Chairman, send people who are friendly to him and continue with your prayers or your covert actions to elect onother meanwhile you enjoy the water till God takes over or when you garner enough votes to oust him/her.
The unfortunate bit with the current opposition approach is, you starve yourself, rough, hate anyone who is presumed in agreement with the borehole Chairman!
The worst and disappointing bit, even those who lead the chorus against the Chairman and scare you away from the borehole go at night and fetch water hideously from the borehole Chairman.
This is because they receive pay, vehicles, per diem and fuel refund from government yet they tell you to resist and their families are Okay, insured and when they die they will receive burial and final sendoff packages!
Now the opposition hates Nalinya, Ssemakookiro , Katikiro Mayiga, Mubaje, Museveni,
Bugingo, Bebe Cool, Ray G, Alien Skin, David Lutalo, Fresh kid ……. you name it!
If you hate the cultural leaders of your tribe, you hate other tribes, it means you’re also pretending to love the Kabaka and surviving on borrowed consciousness!
How dare you despise the Katikiro , the Would be King Semakokiro and Kabaka’s sister in the name of Kyagulanyi ?
This action deserves all contempt we can muster, an apology from opposition leaders and admitting to lack of direction, leadership and if possible resignation.
If this unparalleled idiocy hoes unchecked and not nipped in the bud,
The dog will soon eat its puppies.
