Police have confirmed the arrest of Lujja Bbosa Tabula, the primary suspect in the murder of former Ndiga clan leader Engineer Daniel Bbosa. Tabula, aged 38, was apprehended on 19 August 2024 in Kimelika-Namulonge, Busikuma, by a specialized crime intelligence squad.

Tabula faces charges related to the violent shooting death of Eng. Daniel Bbosa, who was killed when assailants fired upon his motor vehicle, registration number UAH 637X.
The murder, which took place early this year, shocked the community and led to an intense manhunt. Police had previously offered a substantial cash reward of UGX 10 million for information leading to his arrest.

In addition to the murder charges, Tabula is also wanted in connection with the disturbing discovery of human skulls at his residence in Mpigi, further complicating his legal troubles.
The murder of Engineer Bbosa was marked by dramatic events. The assailants, who were on a motorcycle, targeted Bbosa’s vehicle, resulting in his immediate death. A vigilant local resident intervened by knocking down the assailants’ motorcycle and alerting the community. This quick action led to a mobilization of local residents who confronted the attackers. During the ensuing chaos, one assailant was killed by the mob, while the fate of the other assailant remains uncertain.
