The Chaplain of Trinity college Nabbingo Rev. Fr. JC Kiwanuka has urged the Alumni and well-wishers of the college to respond in kind by participating in their forthcoming fundraising activity for the completion of the mega Ushs 6.9bn 2,500 capacity seater new Chapel.
Kiwanuka told this website 29th September 2026 at the college that they are set to host a mega fundraising dinner initiative on 10th October 2026 at the college Mulo sports complex were they intend to raise a balance of Ushs 2.4bn for the completion phase of the construction works.
He said the need arose when the current Chapel with a capacity seater of 400 students had become small to cater for the increasing student population of the college and that is why they launched the construction works for the new expanded Chapel.
Currently the pending works include Roofings, general floor and painting works both internal and external as well as furniture and electrical works among other critical infrastructure requirements.
He appealed to all the stakeholders of this great girls only education institution to join them and make contributions to ensure the project was completed on time
He thanked both the government through the ministry of education and sports and the parents fraternity for the continous support extended to the college which has enabled the administration to do a great job in terms of offering an all round quality education to the girls.
He also appreciated the support both moral and spiritual extended to the college by the Catholic church leadership saying it had contributed to the general infrastructure development of the college.
