National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has urged voters in Koboko to vote for National Resistance movement candidate for DR Charles Ayume for Koboko Municipality Member of Parliament.
“I have studied Mr. Ayume for a long time and he inspires me. Today I tell the people of Koboko to vote for him. I know he will not say anything good about me but wherever he is, tell him that I support him, ” Bobi Wine said.

Dr. Ayume won the state minister for investment Evelyn Anite in the NRM primaries to carry the flag.
It should be noted that Bobi Wine’ pronouncement could be informed by the fact that his party has no flag bearer in the area and the harsh attacks by the investment minister Evelyn Anite against people power.
However in his tweet Dr. Ayuume called upon his supporters to vote for NRM flag bearers at all levels.
In the same way, Uganda’s senior presidential press secretary, Don Wanyama said in a tweet that Bobi wine will soon tell Ugandans to vote for president Museveni.
Meanwhile Minister Anite in her tweet she lashed at Bobi wine for abandoning the ghetto people when he got rich.
“I spent the day in Kamyokya discussing with ghetto youths on how 2 improve their lives like ending the bedbug problem. When
@HEBobiwine became rich, he forgot the Ghetto & moved to a mansion in Magere. He’s now in Koboko abusing me. Am in Kamwokya Securing the Future 4 the pple.” She tweeted.
