Human rights lawyer, activist Nicholas Opiyo arrested

The executive director of Chapter four Uganda, also a human rights lawyer and activist Nicholas Opiyo has been arrested by unknown plain clothed men.

According to sources, Opiyo was arrested from Lamaro restaurant in Kamwokya where he was having lunch with friends.

He was handcuffed and taken to an unknown location by the plain clothed men who friends suspect to be security personels

Nicholas Opiyo is known of being critical of government for violating human rights
