Omusawo Tintah spits venom against security forces violation of human rights

By Mukembo Wilfred

Metro fm journalist and presenter Male Deogratius alias Omusawo Tintah has spit venom following the killings of over 37 Ugandans by security agencies in various districts of the country who were protesting the arrest of presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine.

Omusawo Tintah while in his Uganda one program, he faulted security agencies for working tooth and nail to ensure that the President Museveni stays in power against all odds

He added that the shootings and killings of opposition supporters, innocent persons and brutal arrest of the opposition candidates is a clear manifestation that the ruling National Resistance Movement party, president Museveni and security agencies want to instill fear in people from demanding for a free and fair election.

Kyagulanyi who was arrested on Wednesday in Luuka district was granted a one million shilling non cash bail for COVID-19 related charges. Following his arrest on Wednesday, protests erupted in up to 20 districts in the country. By Thursday, the death toll from the riots had reached 37.

Omusawo Tintah also used his show to rally Ugandans to stand toll against all forms of injustices.
