Kyotera Woman Member of Parliament and candidate Hon. Ssentogo Robina Nabasirye alias Mama Kitovu Mobile has on Friday morning succumbed to Covid 19.
The sad news have been communicated by the speaker of parliament Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga during today ‘plenary.
“The Speaker informs the House that Hon Robina Ssentongo, MP for Kyotera District has passed on this morning after contracting and suffering from #COVID-19. The House observes a moment of silence in her honor.” Parliament official twitter account indicated
Born on 23-December-1961, Hon. Ssentogo was elected Member of Parliament through by- elections held in 2017, a position she has held to date.
Before joining parliament she was the chief executive officer of Kitovu Mobile (U) Limited, an organization that provides care and support for People Living with HIV and AIDS (PLHA), through a Home Based Care Program (HBC) and empowers them to cope with the situation in greater Masaka
She also served as a mid-wife Kitovu Hospital and Rubaga Hospital
