FDC’s Amuriat hospitalized after being pepper sprayed in the face

Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Presidential Flagbearer, Patrick Oboi Amuriat alias POA has been rushed to hospital after being pepper sprayed in his face by police.

The nasty incident followed confrontations between him, his camp and police as he tried o defy orders not to go to Tororo District for campaigns by police commanded by a one Abraham Asiimwe.

Tororo District is among the 12 districts where political campaign meetings were suspended by the Electoral Commission (EC) due to increasing numbers of CoviD-19 cases in the same districts and cities.

However, Amuriat and National Unity Platform candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine vowed to defy the directive which Amuriat attempted to do today.

Amuriat tried to apply baby Powder to his face as a means to reduce irritation from tear gas and pepper spray but all in vain.

Now Amuriat is being admitted at at Fastline Medical center in Bugiri district.
