The Buganda premier (Katikiro) Charles Peter Mayiga has revealed that the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II is suffering from Allergy.
The Katikiro revealed Kabaka’s sickness while addressing the media on Friday afternoon at Bulange Mengo, the kingdom headquarters.
Katikiro said, Kabaka is having challenges related to allergies that cause him breathing difficulties.
He urged the public to disregard the rumors on social media that the Kabaka had been poisoned.
“The rumours that Kabaka is poisoned are totally wrong, baseless and unfounded. They cause unnecessary anxiety please disregard them.” said Mayiga.
According to the Katikkiro, king is getting the best care from health experts around him.
Meanwhile, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II and the Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda were vaccinated against COVID-19 at the Lubiri in Mengo today morning.
