Former UJA president Kateregga Musaazi appointed deputy RCC

Former president of the umbrella body that unites all journalists in Uganda, Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) Ahmed Kateregga Musaazi has been appointed the deputy Resident City Commissioner (RCC) for Masaka City by president Museveni.

Kateregga who will now deputize Fred Bamwine is a veteran pro ruling government journalist who worked with New Vision group for so many years before joining Government Citizen Interaction Centre (GCIC) an organ that acts as the government public relations organisation that defends all governments under takings especially in the media.

Others who were appointed as Deputy RCCs include : former prime minister John Patrick Amama Mbabazi head of security during 2016 general electionsMr .Aine Christopher-Mbarara City, Mr.Akintole Muhuuta – Hoima City, Mr Okello Francis Odoki- Gulu City, Mr.Banya Peter- Jinja City, Mr. Webale Robert – Mbale City, Mr.Eseru Paul- Lira City,Mr Adomati Dickson- Arua City and Mr.Bindeba Festus(earlier appointed) – Fortportal City.
