By Jumah Kakomo

Uganda national examinations board (UNEB) has today released Examinations Calendar/Roadmap of 2022.

While addressing the media at Uganda media center, Dan Odong executive secretary UNEB said the normal registration of candidates at all levels commences this month of February and will go on until 31st May, 2022, and for candidates who may miss registering  during the normal period, a period has been set for late registration, starting from 1st to 30th June, 2022.

He further disclosed registration charges at all levels as prescribed by UNEB whereby PLE candidates will pay UGX 34,000/=, UCE 164,000/=, and UACE will pay 186,000/=, however late registration attracts a surcharge of 50% of the total registration fees at UCE and UACE levels, and 100% surcharge at PLE level.

Dan also urged heads of centres and school directors to desist from referring to any other administrative costs as UNEB fees because it is an offence in accordance with UNEB Act 2021, section 33.

Meanwhile Rose Nabukenya Mukasa, principal examinations officer UNEB, says UCE will commence on 14th October-18th November, 2022, PLE will begin on 07th-09th, November, 2022, whereas UACE, will kick off on 18th, November-09th, December, 2022.
