Iganga police is holding two suspects on allegations of homosexuality.
The arrested suspects include Kafuko Muhammad commonly known as Muvabulaya a former Iganga municipality mayoral contestant in the 2021 general elections who was found with another man in the car half necked by night patrol police in Nakavule at the football pitch.
At around 10:00pm, police which was carrying out a night patrol along with journalists at Nakavula zone found a parked vehicle registered no.UAJ 932J alongside the road shaking and taking a critical look Kafuko and the male colleague were allegedly engaging in homosexual acts.
The two were put on a police patrol and their car was took to Iganga Central Police Station police for further investigation, however police has preferred not to comment on the matter until investigations into the matter are concluded.
According to the residents the same car has on several times been parking in the same place with different people.
