Buganda Kingdom king Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II returned from Europe on Saturday night.
Buganda Prime Minister Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga confirmed the development via his official twitter handle.
“Ssabasajja Kabaka returned from abroad, he is healthy and reigning over his Kingdom,” Mayiga tweeted.
The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, in late March departed to Europe for official duties.
His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, left Entebbe International Airport aboard KLM Airlines went to use the trip to lure some European investors to invest in Uganda especially in Buganda Kingdom.
The Katikkiro (Premier) of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga who saw him off noted that His Majesty was to traverse different countries in Europe including Netherlands, UK and German.
“When the Kabaka travels out of the country he meets a number of Kingdom partners and we are presently engaged in many activities which are possible because we have built strong partnership with various organizations and institutions and the Kabaka has been instrumental in identifying a number of partners that the Kingdom works with. “ Said Katikiro
Katikiro Mayiga also revealed that the Kabaka was to use the trip to visit members of his medical team in addition to doing work related to Kabaka Foundation
