The National Unity Platform NUP youth mobilizer of Katubwe village in Wakiso district Collins John Kisekka has narrated the ordeal and trauma he went through in the hands of security operatives who abducted him and kept him in what he termed as a torture chamber.
38 year old Collins John Kisekka married to Margaret Jane Nabwami and blessed with 3 kids who include Wasswa Kisekka Ian Michael, Nakato Kisekka Meghan Michaela and Daniel Jayson Kisekka.
Collins john Kisekka will live to remember how he suffered in the hands of security operatives for supporting NUP and having ambitions and desires of changing the society especially the young generations for better.

Kisekka says he joined the National Unity Platform in 2020 as a volunteer being an advocate for change in society and the country at large. He narrated that all was well until when he was abducted by plain clothed men on July 20th, 2022 and who allegedly tortured him.
“On the 20th July of 2022 while I was walking back home from one of the meetings for NUP in Waskiso town council I was abducted by four plain clothed security operatives who blind folded me and threw me into a van best known as “DRONE.’” They drove for a longer distance after they put me into a room full of darkness in that I couldn’t tell the time.
While in the room I had no bathe, no water and no food, they left me there for a couple of hours I think until the next morning since I couldn’t tell the time when a man in plain civilian clothes opened the room and asked me why I was a member of NUP and why I Supported the group. He told me if I don’t stop supporting NUP, I will lose my life and my Family will never see me again before he left.” Said Kisekka
Kisekka also alleged that after a couple hours another security operative came in and brought him some water and half cooked food corn, and beans, which he ate and finished since he was so hungry and too tired. He had no sleep and the room had so many mosquitoes which bite him.
.
“I think it was the following day that another security operative came in the room with a female soldier in uniform and they began torturing me while asking me the names of other NUP members with whom I work with to mobilize people to join NUP. The man (security operative in plain clothes) was hitting me with an electric cable while I was naked asking me why I support the group (NUP) and that if I don’t leave the group, they will kill me, or I will disappear and never been seen again.
After a couple of hours another security operative came into the room and began to torture me as while asking me why I joined the group (NUP). He tied my hands and legs and began hitting me with a cane all over my body. He then tied my testicles with a rope like a shoelace Very tight. I was making noise and yelling since I was in great pain but to no help.” He narrated
With much emotions and tears flowing from his eyes, Kisekka said they tied his testicles for like an hour and he was in great pain to the extent that he was left unconscious.
“I was left bleeding till the next morning when another security operative came and brought me some food, he woke me up and handed me the plate and a cup of water. Worse still I had to pee and defecate in a container and the waste was never dumped. It stayed in the room with me. i had to endure the stinking smell since I also ate in the same room.
I was in the room for four days being tortured and on the 5th day they handcuffed me, blind folded me and put me into a car I didn’t see and drove me for a longer distance before dumping me at Lusaze village, Rubaga Dision, in Kampala district. I was so weak and dehydrated with no shirt, I recall it was a Friday at around 3pm July 25th, 2022. “Narrated Kisekka

Kisekka says he was helped by a boda boda rider who asked him what had happened to him before taking him to the nearest clinic since he was bleeding and very weak.
“After dropping me at the clinic I requested to call my wife and tell her where I was, I was put on a drip and given medication. My wife Margaret Nabwami came and i was later referred to KCCA Kawala Health Centre IV for further medical attention. when i stabilized and got discharged my wife took me to our home in Wakiso district to take care of me.
With tears rolling from her eyes, my wife also narrated how she had lost hopes of finding me since they tried all they could to trace for me but in vain including checking in various police station and mortuary” said Kisekka
Meanwhile, the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango informed this website that Kisekka was not in their custody. He however, said that they have been reached by various persons inquiring about his status but all the checks were in negative.
