The presiding Bishop for the Evangelical Orthodox Church in Uganda Jacinto Kibuuka has hosted children for the Christmas party with a call to keep discipline and love God by obeying their parents and elders.
Bishop Kibuuka who spent the entire day at Mamre International Prayer Centre at Namugongo, Janda, Wakiso district with children, praying, playing and attending them also awarded those who recited bible scriptures and best also those who performers in the bible quiz. They enjoyed playing in the bouncing castles, face painting, creative dance, music performances and ice cream eating among others.
He also encouraged teachers and parents to bring up their children in the right way and instructed them to discipline the young ones with love, for they are the future of the country. He urged parents to set good and positive examples for their children to follow.
“As parents, we should be very careful what we do and say because our children watch us. Children imitate what we do. Always groom up the children in God’s ways because the future of the church rests in them and they are our future leaders.” Said Bishop Kibuuka
Bishop Kibuuka also used the opportunity to wish every person a merry Christmas and
Urged all Ugandans and none Ugandans to join him and other EOC priests at Mamre prayer Centre in Namugongo Janda on 31st, December as they usher in a new year 2023 in the powerful healing and deliverance prayers, gospel music performance and great fire wax.
He emphasized that it very important to enter a new year before God since it helps one to renew his commitment to God and hence God opens up his blessing and healing upon that particular person.
