Five charged with murder of Ndiga clan head Eng. Bbosa, remanded to Luzira

Five people have been on Monday morning charged been charged with murder of  Ndiga clan head (Lwomwa) Eng Dan Kakeedo Bbosa who was shot dead last month.

The five who were charged before Mwanga II Magistrate’s court include:  Noah Lujja, 21, a mason, Milly Naluwenda, a secretary to Kisekwa traditional court, Harriet Nakiguli, Joseph Nakabale, a painter and Ezra Mayanja.

The state told court that the accused and other still at large on February, 25 at Kikandwa Lungujja in Rubaga division with malice aforethought unlawfully caused the death of Eng.Daniel Bbosa.

They were however not allowed to take plea since their offence is capital in nature and only tried by the High Court.

The state prosecutor, Caroline Mpumwire told court that investigations into the matter are still ongoing.

The trial magistrate, Adam’s Byarugaba remanded the group to Luzira prison until April, 4, 2024.

It should be noted that accused arrived in a police caged pick up amidst tight security at court.
