Am fighting to save a generation, church, Nation from homosexuality- Pastor Ssenyonga

By Mukembo Wilfred

The lead pastor for Christian Life Church, Bwaise Jackson Ssenyonga has come out and clarified that he is not fighting individuals and church but rather fighting for the church and nation from all acts homosexuality.

Pastor Ssenyonga who is embroiled in a verbal war against the Rubaga Miracle church pastor Robert Kayanja over allegations of the later sodomizing a number of boys said in the viral videos making rounds on social media that he was prompted to join the war against homosexuality after hearing that there could be thousands of young people who are sodomy victims with some tabling evidence to him.

“After hearing that there could be thousands of young people that could be affected because this one person would do it to another one who would do the same, when we knew its magnitude and  one of the leaders in Uganda doing it and we are also leaders in Uganda. We decided to check out and engage it so that we can save a generation.

Am fighting to save your sons, daughters, grandchildren, generation, church and the nation.” Said Pr. Ssenyonga

“Before you can think about defending one, can you think about defending thousands? If you think about the later, you would take steps to say may be if this is redemptive for the masses, we can actually talk about it but not accuse pastor Ssenyonga.” He added.

Pastor Ssenyonga also emphasized the need to handle the sin within church as opposed to defending it.

“You thinking that handling sin in the body of Christ destroys the church then you can’t be a pastor to say that. Handling a sin of a leader of that kind of magnitude it will actually strengthen the church, the word and work of God in Uganda” said Pastor Ssenyonga

He added “One is not the savior of all even if you have a good church, you are not the author of salvation. If there is a mistake you can be isolated and brought into accountability and then the church will come strong because the world will believe that Pentecostals want the truth and stick to it which will strengthen church.”
