Stephen Mukasa, the National Coordinator of Generation Seven, has issued a heartfelt appeal to young people seeking to express dissatisfaction with corruption in society. Emphasizing the importance of peaceful and lawful actions, Mukasa highlighted that such approaches are the most effective means to bring about meaningful change without causing harm to individuals and communities.
“In times of frustration over corruption, it’s crucial to remember that resorting to violence or destructive behavior can have detrimental consequences,” Mukasa stated. He underscored that such actions not only risk personal safety but also undermine the credibility and legitimacy of the cause being championed.
Instead of destructive methods, Mukasa encouraged youths to utilize their voices effectively by raising awareness about critical issues and advocating for reforms. “By promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance, we can collectively work towards combating corruption,” he added.
Mukasa further urged young people to support organizations and initiatives dedicated to addressing corruption and promoting social justice. He emphasized that every action taken has the potential to shape the future positively and contribute to building a more just and equitable society.
“Let us collaborate and channel our energies towards constructive efforts that foster change,” Mukasa concluded, reaffirming Generation Seven’s commitment to empowering youth to lead in creating a better future for all.
