Police in Kampala have released photos of three additional suspects connected to the high-profile robbery of coffee valued at over 470 million shillings. The robbery took place in Tuula, Kawempe Division, while the coffee was being transported from Kasese to Mombasa.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, confirmed that one of the suspects, Juma Musisi, was previously arrested along with four other individuals, but managed to escape lawful custody after being granted bail at Nabweru Chief Magistrate’s Court. Musisi reportedly fled upon realizing that detectives from Mukono Police were preparing to re-arrest him. Musisi is known to use aliases such as “Young Mandela” and “Masape.”

Onyango also identified two other suspects: Sayyid Kalule, alias “Bogere,” and Joab Mucunguzi, who are both wanted in connection with the crime. The police are urging members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist in locating the suspects, ensuring they are brought to justice.
The robbery incident has drawn significant attention, given the scale of the stolen goods, and police are intensifying efforts to track down the remaining suspects involved in the crime.
