By Namuli N Racheal

Nicholas Mutebi aged 21 a resident of Bunono village in Katabi town council appeared before the chief magistrate Stella Maris Amabilis today.

On the 15th day of January this year residents of Baita Ababiri woke up in shock after their fellow and boda boda chairman of Baita-Kabaale stage John Mbabule was stabbed to death by his own son Nicholas Mutebi.

After the separation of John Mbabule and his wife Justine Kakyubya ten years ago, Nicholas went to Masaka with his mum and other siblings, after some time, Nicholas returned to Baita to stay with his father.

According to residents, the father paid for Nicholas to persue an engineering course though after this course, Nicholas told his father that he couldn’t manage construction and its related tiresome work.

As time went by, Nicholas became lousy and started loitering around baita and the neighbouring areas while having affairs with young girls.

John Mbabule decided to rent a fully furnished room for his son.

Nicholas in the due process got pissed accusing his father of chasing him from his home together with refusing to give him some two rentals from his property.

During the wee hours of the night on the 14 th January, Nicholas Mutebi fearlessly stabbed his father to death and later reported to Entebbe police station for having murdered the father.

Police took action and carried out investigations until Nicholas was taken to Entebbe Magistrate’s court and charged with murder.

Today he has been remanded back to Kigo prison until the 14th of May.

Racheal N, thankyou for always keeping us updated about affairs. Please keep it up.
It is very unfortunate for a child to really finish his own father.
We hope that the late gets justice
