SUMMARY: In memories of the late son, Rajiv Ruparelia who died in a road car accident at the beginning of May this year 2025, The Living Group (TLG) while unveiling its the new completed project, The Vista Apartments Naguru, the daughter of the late Rajiv, Inara Ruparelia was the chief guest while the Ruparelia family commissioned a water borehole, for the Naguru community to access safe and clear water.

K’LA-NAGURU, Yesterday, TLG under Ruparelia group unveiled the new high tech ultra-modern apartments, The Vista Apartments Naguru, residential development and honored their late son Rajiv Ruparelia, the brain master that initiated the project way back in 2019-2020 and later died before completed.

Besides the late Rajiv, the official launch of The Vista Apartments witness by, Founder and Chairman Ruparelia Group Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia who doubles as the first Honorary Consul of the Republic of Nepal, two daughters Meera Ruparelia, Sheena Ruparela, managing Director TLG Ray Sankari and the family granddaughter Inara Ruparelia.

Speaking to the congregation, Sheena Ruparelia re-emphasis the legacy of the late Rajiv and pledges as director TLG to fulfill them all. “My brother Rajiv left us at a very young age and The Vista Apartments was one of his dreams. He was the vision bearer of TLG”

Sheena emphasis the first TLG reputation with Bukoto Living, “We make sure at the end of the project you get your title so you know you own this it is all legal, it is all clean if you want to sell it you have your title you can put that and get a loan against it and it’s very straightforward”. Said Sheena.

As giving back to community, Sheena Said, the late Rajiv Ruparelia always saw something that’s not everyone could see he would talk to the community, he would be with the people and he would say to TLG this is a good location and this is a place we’re going to build but TLG not just build, we’re going to create a community, we’re going to involve the people of the community, we’re going to uplift the lights on the community.

“Uplift the lights on the community, so like before kick start any project, we even move in, we come we talk to the community and tell them what we’re doing, we create jobs in the environment just like today we launched a borehole in the name of my brother Rajiv, it would be something he would do if he was here so that the community also benefits from a building like this and Rajiv saw that and he always saw that and for us that is his vision and a vision TLG continue to grow in his name.

“we bought this land in 2019-2020, with the hope of building apartments that were affordable for the middle class in Uganda, The Vista Apartments, it’s a 31 units two bedrooms, three bedrooms, four bedrooms and a penthouse we’re lucky enough to say that we are 96% sold we try and make these apartments as affordable as possible for all the Ugandans”

You see Kampala can grow outwards and then you can buy a house but Kampala can only go upwards because of the value of how many people want to live in and work in, it’s the business hub of Kampala and we have to thank our president Museveni he has made this an economy where people can be proud and people’s lives have been improving and they can afford better things, starts with education that leads to good jobs, jobs lead to good income, income leads to good house.

Every individual’s dream is to have an income to support their family, their children to raise them well. So that comes with housing, housing is something like a roof, the most important thing and although there’s a lot of things in Uganda and a lot of apartments.

“You have to pick the right thing otherwise you can end up with an apartment that loses value over years we’re proud that we make sure that our Apartments will carry on growing and value as time goes by”. Adding that, people well let them find their way and we will build and as we build others will follow in the slum and as the slum comes up the city grows as the city grows more people move to Kampala, more people will buy we’ll shop in the supermarkets their children will go to the schools and Kampala the economy of Uganda grows and that’s how the economy is booming.

However, we want to get into local housing we want to build 200 million hundred and fifty million houses for people and it is our dream to go into Najeera and when we going to Najeera, we’re hoping to house a 1,000 family the land is already been purchased and we’re hoping that all the banks will come on board and support this venture we’re going to launch it in the next couple of years, we hope it’s going to be something special,100 million shilling range and as they go up they will buy a 500-600 million and then going to the US dollar range and so on and so on.

“The idea is we all grow together, we all want to grow together, we are a country of entrepreneurs, immigrants who come to Uganda want to be entrepreneurs from the lady that sells maize on the streets, she’s an entrepreneur to the child that sells bananas, and he’s an entrepreneur”. Said Ray

Speaking to the incoming new project, the 48 Apartments said “It is going to be a luxury, a lot of people advertise luxury but this time we want to set the standard in luxury, we want people to come home to luxury, real luxury, luxury doesn’t start when you enter your apartment, luxury starts when you enter your driveway from a valet service to park your car to the manager that greets you at your gate to the fact that your children can move around the building freely swimming in the heated pool to a fully functional gym no outside is allowed in, it is going to be a conclave within the group”. Said Ray during one on one with trusted news.

The Vista Apartments Naguru, standing on the rooftop you see the lights of Kampala, you’re getting value for money in the TLG, “We’re proud as TLG that we are importing the right materials, we are building with the right materials locally and we’re using good contractors and we’re paying the right prices to the contractors, we don’t look for the cheapest product, we look for the best quality item and I’m proud that Rajiv Ruparelia is one person who said to us never compromise on materials when you’re building, no one’s safety should ever be put in jeopardy so we always buy the correct things”. Said Ray

TLG, founded by Rajiv Ruparelia, Meera Ruparelia, Sheena Ruparelia and Ray Sankari, as TLG The Vista Apartment, is the second project. “We felt that people in Uganda deserve something of quality, affordable and so we decided to look for locations that were easy to commute and we decided to develop something and give a quality product”. Said Sheena. Adding that we take almost one year to design a project meaning that it doesn’t matter what the price point is, what you’re going to get from us, you can always find there’s multiple apartment building in Uganda but what we do is to take our time to make sure the design is perfect, we feel that in Uganda we experience like for example we make sure out apartments have an external kitchen area because the type of cooking that we do so when we design something like this we think about how we live here and you know we are also grown-up in Uganda, we are more Ugandan than Indian so the way we design something, is something that someone in Uganda can really enjoy it and want to live in.
