Shock and grief engulfed residents of Nansana East 1 B zone in Wakiso district when unknown assailants brutally murdered a known mobile money attendant in area.
The aggravated robbery and murder happened to one Kyamazima Rose a mobile money agent who was attacked and stabbed to death by three unknown men who were riding a motorcycle last evening at around 9.30 pm.
According to Patrick Onyango Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson the thugs stole her ATM card, two smart mobile phones, one small button phone, and an unspecified amount of money.
According to eyewitnesses, Kyamazima Rose was seen depositing money in a bank using an ATM card and then boarded a motorcycle to head home. As she was about to reach her residence, the trio followed them and surrounded her with violence, causing her rider to flee and leave her alone.
Despite her attempts to run away, she was overpowered and stabbed, leaving her lifeless.
Patrick Onyango adds that the police from Nansana were notified documenting the scene thoroughly
The body was taken to the city mortuary Mulago for postmortem as investigation and hunt is underway to arrest the culprit to bring them to book.
