Police Launches A Manhaunt on Three Boda Boda Riders Who Gang Raped a 22 year Old Nurse

Police at Kabalagala have launched a manhunt on three Boda boda riders who gang raped a 22 year old nurse at the wee hours of this morning. 

The rape and robbery incident occurred at around 4 am  in Muyenga B zone Makindye division Kampala District.  The victim aged 22 years’ names withheld a nurse by professional is a resident of Buddo,kyengera Town council in Wakiso district. 

According to Racheal Kawala Kampala, Metropolitan Police spokesperson, the suspects are three unknowns only identified by face boda bode ridders.

It’s alleged that on 14th/12/2025 at around 04: 00, the victim was leaving KRUG CLUB located in Bugolobi, where she attended a friend’s birthday party. At the gate, she approaches unidentified bodaboda ridder to take her, but he declined on grounds that the 15,000 shillings she was offering was little.

The victim went a head and approached another boda boda to take to her to her place of residence in Buddo Kyengera, and he accepted. They started the journey. However, the ridder who declined to take her followed them while carrying another person.

The victim’s ridder took the direction of muyenga and took the victim upto muyenga ‘B’ zone. At this point, the victim’s ridder stopped without any cause. Immediately, the other two arrived on their motorcycle, grabbed and wrestled the victim down, and allegedly gang raped her.

Racheal Kawala further adds that the suspects also robbed the victim of her two smart mobile phones  and cash worth 150,000 shillings. After raping and robbing the victim, the suspects fled the scene on their motorcycles. 

She reported the case at Kabalagala police station and advised her to go to the hospital for medical examination as the hunt to arrest the suspects is on.

Kawala further advised young ladies not to move alone at night in order to avoid such problems.
