Jesus Is Adonai Ministry Launched in Uganda, Moves to Transform Communities.

Saturday 13, December, 2025, went down in the history as Jesus Is Adonai (JIA) ministry was officially launched in Uganda to expand and further its missionary works to other parts of the globe.

JIA ministry which was founded five years ago, derives its mission and vison from the Biblical verse of Nehemiah 2:20, with a detailed account from other Nehemiah book chapters;1 and 3.

As early as 10: O’clock- mid morning, Kampala Emerald Hotel auditorium had started to be filled by various celebrants, partners and well-wishers who had gathered to witness the historic ceremony. Notable among them were the spiritual figures; pastor Gerald Mukuye- Harvest Teaching Ministries International, pastor Christopher Kigonya from Christian Life Church -Namboole and pastor Jimmy Kalinda-Victory Church-Kasana Luwero.

Judith Yiga one of the JIA’s founding partner stated at the ministry launch that it was started to impact human life through spiritual gospel.

“The Bible tells us that faith without actions is dead. So, everywhere we go we leave behind our Lord Jesus to the people through charity works”.

According to Yiga, several lives have been impacted through their ministry works such as schools that have benefited from donations of learner’s text books.

“Lives of several expectant mothers in various hospitals were touched with mama kits and the government prisons with food donations to the inmates during some of ouroutreach missions”, She disclosed.

Washington Yiga who is another senior JIA ministry founding partner explained that the ministry is being in place to meet community needs through soul searching, winning and transformation. “When a person is right with God, communities easily change” He said.

Pastors on 2026 Electoral Violence.

With explicit citation of electoral violence that has played out during the ongoing 2026 campaigns for presidential candidates, pastors expressed deep concern, calling for an end of the same since it was tainting the country’s image.

Christian Life Church senior pastor Godfrey Kigonya observed that an election should be made distinct from the acts of bloodshed, before he could discourage all stake holders to strongly shun them by working for peace.

“We are one of the nations that say for God and my country what seems to be fading away. So, we have come to pray that God changes it all.

The Pentecostal Church clergy also warned against the involvement of his fellow religious leaders in partisan politics, saying it is dangerous for the society.

Pastor Gerald Mukuye from the Harvest Teaching Ministries International tackled marital matters, cautioning the women from the acts that undermine relationships and holy marriage.

With Jesus Is Adonai ministry works in place, only sky can be the limit.
