Phaneroo Ministries Hosts 4th Interschool Revival Conference, Drawing 30,000 Students

By Jumah Kakomo

Phaneroo Ministries International successfully hosted the 4th edition of its highly anticipated Interschool Revival Conference (TIC), which attracted an estimated 30,000 students from across Uganda and beyond. Held at the Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru, Kampala, the event marked the first of six major annual gatherings organized by the ministry, aimed at empowering and inspiring young people.

The conference, which targeted upper primary and secondary school students aged 12–18, as well as Senior Four (S4) and Senior Six (S6) vacists, took place on January 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event provided a unique platform for spiritual growth and transformation among students at a crucial stage in their lives.

Empowering Youth through Spiritual Engagement

The Interschool Revival Conference serves as a cornerstone of Phaneroo Ministries’ mission to speak into the lives of young people, nurturing their spiritual growth while fostering a strong sense of identity and purpose. Over the years, the conference has become an influential gathering focused on grounding students in Christian values, helping them navigate the pressures they face in today’s world.

Apostle Grace Lubega, the founder of Phaneroo Ministries, shared the heart behind the conference: “It means a lot to us to have the opportunity to speak into the lives of these young people, to impart unto them some spiritual gift to establish them, as is stated in Romans 1:11.” She emphasized that the conference was designed to address the challenges and pressures students face, encouraging them to remain true to their identity in Christ and rise above societal expectations.

A Full Day of Spiritual and Educational Activities

The conference program featured a blend of activities aimed at engaging students spiritually and intellectually. The morning session included games and sports activities, providing an opportunity for students to bond and build camaraderie. This was followed by an uplifting session of praise and worship, as well as ministration from gospel artists, leading up to the teaching of the Word by esteemed speakers.

In addition to spiritual enrichment, the conference also offered practical support through career guidance sessions facilitated by the Manifest Career Network. Students were provided with valuable insights into career paths, while counseling sessions led by the Golden Fathers and Mothers offered personalized support for students facing unique challenges in their academic and personal lives.

The Role of the Holy Spirit in Lasting Transformation

Apostle Grace Lubega has consistently highlighted the importance of introducing young people to the presence and guidance of the Holy Spirit, emphasizing that true transformation goes beyond intellectual instruction. “This generation is faced with many tests and challenges, and the solution is beyond just appealing to your mind. We have to introduce you to the person of the Holy Spirit. If He walks with you, talks with you, preserves you, and works in you, that shall be sufficient. We shall not worry about you or lose sleep over you,” she stated in a previous interview.

Phaneroo Ministries urged schools, parents, and guardians to support student participation in this transformative event, which aims to lay a strong foundation for character development and spiritual growth at an early age.

A Growing Influence on the Youth

Since its inception, the Interschool Revival Conference has grown in influence, attracting thousands of students each year. With its focus on spiritual grounding and empowering students to fulfill their God-given potential, the conference continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of leaders and changemakers.

As Phaneroo Ministries continues to expand its reach, the TIC remains a key event in the ministry’s calendar, offering young people the tools and support needed to navigate the challenges of adolescence with faith and confidence.
