UBC TV producer Faluku Lubwama on wanted after skipping bond

Uganda Broadcasting Cooperation (UBC) Television, journalist, producer and Editor Faluku Lubwama is on wanted by police and court after skipping his bond on charges of incitement of violence and possession of National Unity Platform T-Shirts and red berets.

Faluku Lubwama an employee of government owned media house UBC was one of the suspects who were arrested and charged by Kawempe Police Division on case number CRB 758/2023 but later on 31st March, 2023 a day he was summoned.

Faluku appears on the same file with other suspects who include among others renown comedian also Nansana Muinicipality woman councilor on NUP Card Lydia Nakitto a.k.a Maama Sam, Kwagala Angella , Denis Ssenono has since skipped bond and not appeared before Nabweru Chief Magistrates courts were his fellow suspects were charged from.

In their last court sitting the trial magistrate issued warranty of arrest for Faluku Lubwama over violation of his bond and failure to appear before court.

The suspects are accused of planning unlawful demonstrations in the areas of Nabweru, Nansana Municipality.
