The Presidential advisor on political affairs also former minister without portfolio Al-haji Abudul Nadduli has requested President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to arrest all land brokers conniving with land grabbers to steal peoples’ land

The former Minister Hajji Abdul Nadduli accused land brokers for conniving with land grabbers causing endless havoc in Uganda particularly in the central region hence making many people land less.

“Many people have lost their land here after land brokers conniving with rich men who invest in money to grab Land from helpless people,” says Al-haji Nadduli.

He added that the country has lost land of cultural sites which contributes greatly to the development of the tourism sector.

Nadduli’s request to president Museveni to arrest land brokers conniving with land grabbers to steal land has come at a time when land broker Yiga Allan alias ‘Lord Allan Yiga” is allegedly attempting to grab Land of Kalooli Kisitu’s family lineage at Kaligwa Mpambire.

Lord Allan Yiga allegedly tried to sale the said land using a forged agreement in the names of Nakayizza Teopista claiming to receive the land from one Nalumansi Kasifa a sister of the owner of the land Kalooli Kisitu.

His attempt failed after residents informed family members and told the purchaser facts about the land with a caution not to dare to purchase the ancestral home of Kiyimba Ssebwalunnyo at Kaligwa-Mpambire, Mawokota.

In the same way, the Resident District Commercial (RDC) Mpigi district Ssempala Amos Kigozi cautioned all land grabbers to stay away from Mpigi district after an attempt to encroach on one of the promising tourists sites in Mpigi district.

Last month a group of land dealers attempted to destroy the site after forging a land agreement dated back in 1982 using a nephew of the Kiyimba Ssebwalunnyo’s family lineage Nakayizza Teopista.

The forged agreement bears two signature the one who drafted it by the names of J.L.S Kawoowa (deceased), and the said owner of the said land Ms Nalumansi Kasifa (deceased).
