He urged all Christians to remain in Christ even after finishing the lent period by praying to God tirelessly, helping the needy and less privileged and strictly following God’s commandments in all aspects since the judgment day awaits everyone.

He condemned the increasing criminality in the country

“We condemn the criminality in the country which include murders, robberies, rape and defilement, selfishness, human sacrifice and trafficking, corruption, intolerance among other acts that demean and disrespects God. Christ died for our sins and so we should repent and turn to Him if want to have a peaceful and developed country and alsoto live a pleasing life.” Said Bishop Kibuuka

Bishop Kibuuka also rallied Ugandans on the importance of the family and why everyone should dedicate time to it.

“The family is the first church of Christ and so we call upon parents to behave well, respect themselves and treat the children well.

Jesus Christ who redeemed us can only be exalted in our families when parents don’t fight each other and beat up children. When we respect each other, be patient with one another and prioritize love for one another because the Christ we celebrate his resurrection prioritizes love in all.” Said Bishop Kibuuka.

He wished everyone happy Easter holidays before calling upon them to observe the Standard Operating Procedures to avoid catching Covid 19.
