Family in panic as lesbian queen goes missing

KAMPALA: The family of Miss Robinah Gwika who survived  death recently after she was mobbed on allegations of being a senior lesbian  is living in fear after failing to trace her where about.

Gwika was badly beaten up by an angry mob when she was allegedly found making love to a fellow woman in a guest house in Kawempe Division, Kampala City two weeks ago.

One of her relatives who asked his name to be protected said Gwika sustained life threatening body wounds and was rushed to a medical facility in Kawempe while bleeding.

It’s alleged that after  days at the facility police  got wind of her presence and tried to  arrest her but she was long gone.

“Some people who had wanted to kill her came to our home looking for her . Similarly authorities are also hunting around for Gwika to face the law but we are concerned that we don’t know where she is ” said the  relative.

Her disappearance has caused mixed reactions with some saying she is hiding in the villages while others think she could have got arrested by security or something.

 Gwika and her girl friend Margaret Nakyanzi were smoked in a lodge in Kawempe and beaten by the mob.

She had initially booked into the guest house hours before Margaret joined her to the astonishment of the owners who made an alarm  fearing serious consequences.

According to a family source, Gwika is known for living as a lesbian since her school days in Tororo   Girls school  and she has been living under close watch and caution by the communities .

Her case is being investigated on police reference vide SD Ref 235/15/10/2022 and will be charged as soon as she is found.

Homosexuality is a capital offense  and punishable with death or life sentences  according to corresponding Uganda laws.
