Uganda will showcase its coffee at a top luxurious event in Hamburg, Germany this Friday.
Dubbed the “Uganda Coffee Cupping”, the event promises to be a great opportunity for Uganda to market its high-quality coffee in the Schengen states.
The event is organized by Sera Wild Coffee, a top Ugandan Arabica coffee farmer and exporter to Germany in collaboration with the Ugandan embassy in Berlin.

This will be Uganda’s second opportunity in recent months to demonstrate its rich coffee heritage to international buyers, roasters and coffee enthusiasts.
Speaking to this website from Hamburg, Germany, Sera Wild Coffee’s Milly Nanfuma confirmed that the event slated for November 14 2025, will feature more than 30 top roasters from across Germany.
“This event is going to be big. Over thirty roasters will cup Ugandan coffee. It’s an opportunity to showcase our excellent product on the international scene” Said Nanfuma, a German born Hochschule Damstadt graduate,
The event will also provide a chance for Nanfuma, who through Sera wild get their Arabica coffee from the Elgon region, to connect with international buyers in Germany, fostering new trade opportunities and reinforcing Uganda’s place as one of Africa’s top producers.
She said: “The guests will enjoy live Cupping sessions by German expert roasters.”
Sera Wild was the only Ugandan firm to exhibit its coffee at the lucrative Frankfurt Coffee exhibition in Germany last year.

Another cupping ceremony was held at the Bamberg Tourism Centre in Germany in mid-September.
Experts in the business sector say that the exhibitions are part of Uganda’s strategic plan to increase coffee exports with a target of 20 million bags annually.
The exhibition comes on a record – breaking year in which the country’s coffee export earnings surged to $2.24 billion as per the Ministry of Agriculture.
Statistics show that in the 12 months to August 2025, Uganda shipped out 7.93 million 60Kg bags with both Robusta and Arabica beans making waves in the global markets.
Uganda has been exhibiting its coffee abroad at recent events including SCAJ World Speciality Coffee Conference and Exhibition in Tokyo, the Frankfurt Coffee Festival and the Swiss International Holiday Expo in Lugano.
