In the case Mayende accuses Adidwa of allegedly using academic papers of another person during the nomination

However,Adidwa’s Lawyer Achimo asked for an adjournment citing absence of his fellow lawyers which counterpart lawyers accepted to also add other evidence

Judge Namundi accepted the request and adjourned the case to Thursday this week

He however cautioned lawyers desist from further requests of adjournments considering the little time they left with to conclude the matter.

Addressing journalists outside court, Mayende’s lawyer Moses Kiiza highlighted about the court process adding that he is optimistic they will win the petition

On his side, MP Adidwa said that is confident of winning the case and termed the case as a diversion aimed at stopping him from performing his duties.
