The National Entrepreneurs and Traders Association (NETA) Uganda has announced the Mukono Street Business Expo 2026 (Omwoleso), a five-day business exhibition scheduled to run from July 7 to July 11, 2026, at the Mukono District Headquarters Grounds.
The expo will bring together vendors, manufacturers, entrepreneurs and traders from different parts of the country to showcase a wide range of products and services. Members of the public will be admitted free of charge, providing an opportunity to interact with exhibitors, explore new products and support local businesses.

Organisers say the exhibition is designed to promote trade, innovation, business networking, market expansion and investment opportunities while creating a platform for enterprises to grow.
According to the NETA Uganda Chairperson, Dr. Thadeus Musoke Nagenda, the Mukono expo forms part of a nationwide exhibition programme that will be rolled out across various districts in Uganda.
Dr. Musoke said the initiative aims to increase traders’ incomes by expanding market access and connecting businesses with new customers. He added that the exhibition will also provide a platform for vendors who were removed from roadsides and kiosks during the implementation of trade order regulations to market their products in an organised environment.
He noted that the expo will also help traders and entrepreneurs access business financing through development partners, receive business training, promote the Buy Uganda, Build Uganda (BUBU) initiative, widen market opportunities and strengthen NETA Uganda’s organisational structures across the country.
Unlike the recently concluded Mbarara and Jinja Market Days, participation in the Mukono Street Business Expo will attract exhibition fees. Local traders and vendors requiring ground space will pay between Shs75,000 and Shs120,000, while exhibitors with their own tents will pay Shs250,000. Manufacturing companies will be charged Shs1,000,000.
Sponsorship packages have also been announced. Diamond sponsorship ranges from Shs1.2 million to Shs1.5 million, Silver sponsorship is Shs2.5 million, Gold sponsorship costs Shs5 million, while Platinum sponsorship ranges between Shs10 million and Shs25 million.
NETA Uganda has called upon traders, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, investors and the business community to take advantage of the exhibition to market their products, establish new business partnerships and explore opportunities for growth.
