Update on Ndejje Collapsed building: number of dead rises to four, more recovered alive

Police by close of Friday confirmed four people died after a storeyed building collapsed on Friday morning in Ndejje Kibutika, Ndejje Division, Makidye Ssabagabo Municipality, Wakiso District.

Addressing to the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson ASP Luke Oweyesigyire four people had been confirmed dead while eight were recovered alive.

ASP Luke also said that the injured are currently receiving treatment at different hospitals.

He added that So far, three deceased persons have been identified. The names are; Namaganda Shamilah , 1.5 years , Musinguzi Boaz , 36 and one only identified as Kasujja a male adult .

He however didn’t reveal the actual cause of the collapsing saying that Investigations into the unfortunate incident had commenced.
