The Director for New hope for Orphans Africa and 19 other staff managed to survive a terrible accident along kaliro road.
Mutebe Naifu a humanitarian attached to new hope for Orphans Africa as the executive director, a non –government organization found in Iganga Nambale which gives assistance to orphans of Uganda, after surviving a nasty accident testified how God stands with believers and givers .
“On 16th.12.2022 Friday midday 20 of us set off from organization compound, a journey that started with a prayer never did we know that this was to be our last prayer if it wasn’t God’s favor. Along the way our car stirring lost control, I tried resisting I loudly told my colleagues inside to tighten their seat belts. In amongst fear and confusion others were calling Jesus ,I had to break immediately because the car was approaching nearby houses and it bounced back on the road, rolling 2 times to the road side” Said Mutebe
Mutebe Naifu director added that todate he cant believe he is alive and he still wonders how they all manage to survive the terrible accident.
According to Naifu, he was travelling in the car with 19 other workers for official work in iganga town but they all managed to survive though him and the co-driver registered some internal injuries in the process.
“I lost control over the car, I had to use a lot of energy to play with the stirring, unfortunately it didn’t work out and the car turned down, rolling on ground, This is a real miracle in our lives, if I look at the state of the car and then us, we have to thank God for another chance, many have perished in accidents but who are to live” said Mutebe
New hope for orphans Africa which Mutebe heads supports over 1000 children in Busoga communities. He believes that maybe it’s upon that reason that God guarded them from death. He added that the damaged car has been helping them in project field works transportation at orphanage.
“This accident has left me ruminating, when I try to sleep a cycle of excessive worries, seeing a car over turning many times”
The incident involved a Toyota caravan with registration number .UBK 778Q, happened few kilometers away from the organization yard at kigulu village.
Mpata Samuel, one of the eye witnesses of the accident told trusted news reporter that he saw a white car branching off the road in a distance shortly the car stopped and overturned on the ground “i thought it was going to hit the nearby road side houses fortunately it didn’t ”
All the people that were travelling in the car were assisted by crowd to get out and the car was towed by Iganga traffic police and currently stationed at iganga central police
