Tanzanian music star Diamond Platinum and the Chayi W’enjaye hit maker Omutume Planet are among the Nominees for the third edition of the Press Bphabeio Awards for the month of January, February and March 2023.
The awards aim at recognizing and awarding the best performing singers every after three months through nomination and transparent open online voting where the winner takes it all.
According to Male Deogratius alias Omusawo Tintah, a media personality and also the Chief Executive Officer of Xavier Marketing Agency, an agency that organizes the Press Uganda Awards, says that the motive behind is to appreciate the artists and those who have immensely contributed to the entertainment industry while still alive.
Those who have been nominated for the personality of the months of January, February and March 2023 include: Diamond Platinum(TZ), Mary Bata(UG), Geosteady(UG), Carol Nantogo(UG), Jose Chameleone(UG), Crysto Panda(UG), Dimated Zion(TZ), Queen Zipporah(TZ) and Director Mareys(TZ).
Those nominated for the Must Watch Talent include: Omutume Planet(UG), Tom Dee(UG), Vyroota(UG), Lady Kola(South Sudan), Royal Simba(UG), McSan Mr Finelines(UG), Paul Mihambo(TZ), Chillaxy Beats(TZ), Mtwa Riffle(TZ), Devosh BBS TV(UG)
