On 28th June 2023 the President of the Uganda People’s Congress UPC political party Hon. Jimmy Akena and team were in Iceme Town Council, Aungu and Owiri Parishes in Iceme Sub county and Abanya and Alao Parishes in Acaba Sub County. Conversing for votes for Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio in the by election for Oyam North County.
Today, 29th June 2023, the President led the campaign trial for the Party’s candidate Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio to Ngai Sub county in Acut and Kulakula Parishes and thereafter touch base in other areas of Iceme Sub county.
The Team was also joined by the MP for Apac Municipality Hon. Ocan Patrick, former UPC Candidate for Apac District Woman MP Hon. Suzan Achola, UPC District Chairman of Apac, and former LC V Chairperson of Oyam District Hon. Adea Nelson among other leaders
