Jinja Industrial area resident Kayongo Moses survives lynching, on wanted over engaging in homosexuality acts

Kayongo Moses a resident of Jinja industrial area is on wanted by police and residents on allegations of engaging in homosexuality despite being a married man with children.

Kayongo Moses who is married to Nanyonjo Resty and blessed with two children Kayongo Mahmood, 4years, Kayongo Ashadullah 2 years and wife is currently pregnant is accused of engaging in the forbidden acts in the country.

Kayongo who has been running a retail shop which had grown into a mini wholesale over time since it operated in Jinja lndustral area, Jinja City which is highly populated being a business area survived being lynched by the residents after suspecting that he was engaging in acts of homosexuality. He however narrowly escaped since by the time of the attack he was not home and since then he has not made any show in the area again.

The angry residents questioned where a married man gets appetite of sleeping with fellow men and also recruit youths into the same acts before ordering the wife who seemed to be naïve of the alleged husbands act to tell them where his husband was hiding or else vacate from their area with immediate effect before provoking them into violence and mob justice.

It is said that Kayongo survived a similar attack in earlier years in Kyebando, Kawempe Division when his home was allegedly raided by the welding and fabrication sector over the same acts of homosexuality. Its is said that Kayongo was badly beaten and left with severe injuries which took him into comma leading to his  admission for a couple of days in kyebando medical referral center. However, it is alleged that his homosexual partner managed to escape through the back door.
