Uganda police force has dismissed allegations of Mukono district Resident District Commission Fred Bamwine wearing police uniform and giving direct commands to the junior officers while dispersing NUP presidential flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi wine’s supporters at rally in Mukono.
According to the statement released by Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango the photo making rounds on social media is for Mbalala OC Asp Asiimwe.
“The photographs that is circulating is of our Officer in Charge of Mbalala Police Station ASP Asiimwe. The picture is not of Mr Fred Bamwine.” statement reads in parts.
