Nigerian artistes Omah Lay, Tems, manager Muyiwa released from prisons

The director of public prosecution has withdrawn charges against Nigerian artistes Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay, Temilade Openyi alias Tems  and Muyiwa Awomiyi the manager of Temilade leading to their immediate release from Kitalya prison by Makidye court grade one magistrate Jude Okumu

Omah Lay and Tems were arrested and subsequently charged together with other five people of negligently doing acts likely to spread an infectious disease as per C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act

It should be noted that the seven were arrested by Police on Sunday in connection to the unauthorized concert that was held on Saturday night in Ddungu Resort, Munyonyo, Kampala Capital City.

The Ugandans who were remanded to Kitalya Prison together with Omah Lay, Tems and Muyiwa remain in prison in prison until this Wednesday when they will appear before court to know their fate.

 Reports also indicate that the two will be heading back to Nigeria tonight.
