Bp Kibuuka urges public to respect other people’s lives, condemns rampant evil acts in the country

The presiding Bishop for the Evangelical Orthodox Church in Uganda also the chairperson of the Christian Ecumenical Council of Uganda (CECU) an umbrella body that brings together five dominions churches Jacinto Kibuuka has urged the public to respect other people’s lives by avoiding doing evil against one another.

Bishop Kibuuka who was leading the Martyrs day prayers at Mamre International Prayer Center in Namugongo Janda condemned the attempted assassination of the former minister for works and transport also former chief of defense forces Gen. Edward Katumba  Wamala that ended the life of his daughter Brenda Nantogo and driver Haruna Kayondo.

He condoled with Gen. Katumba’s family and rallied the public to turn to Jesus Christ who is the way, truth and life and turn into being His witnesses by respecting other people’s lives and avoiding doing evil acts.

“Everyone needs life, why kill another, why bewitch another, why sacrifice human beings, why abort, why be tribal, racist, corrupt, selfish and satanic? Yet we are charged with the duty of loving one another and being our brother’s keeper.

We called upon God to have mercy and forgive Uganda otherwise we are moving in a wrong direction.

We condemn all evil acts and those doing such acts you should know that God will Judge you one day. I therefore, urge you all to respect other people’s lives in all aspects” said Bishop kibuuka

Bishop Kibuuka also emphasized the need to be tolerant, compassionate, helpful to others, trustworthy, truthful, humble, simple, kind, selfless, clean in the heart, hopeful, faithful  peaceful, reconciling, corrupt free among other good things since that’s what witnessing Jesus Christ calls for.
