Omusawo Tintah to host Canadian based reggae star Empress Minott on Tagy Tv

Omusawo Tintah alias Male Deogratius will this Tuesday 10pm host One of Reggae music’s most unusual and fascinating reggae musician, Empress Minott on his Strictly Reggae Dancehall show on Tagy Television.

Empress is very multi-talented singer/songwriter/ recording artist who started singing at the tender age of four and started competing at 5 yrs old. She has work with reggae artist such as Maxi Priest, Etana, Cocoa Tea, Morgan Heritage, Gyptian, Bush Man, and Capleton. Roy, Conrad Crystal, Sugar Minott, Trilla U, Singing Melody, Blessed, Tanya P, and many other local artists.

Omusawo Tintah a renowned media advocate, deejay, radio producer and music director on Metro FM through his strictly reggae dancehall show aims at giving vibrancy to the Reggae Dancehall music which he believes is the most sweet, educative and entertaining music.

Empress Minott biography

Empress Minott first name Lisa was born in the beautiful Parish of Portland Jamaica. Growing up in a home with both parents Christians, was very difficult for the Empress whose favorite Music is Reggae

Empress is very multi-talented singer/songwriter/ recording artist started singing at the tender age of four and started competing at 5 yrs old. In those days Reggae and Christianity just didn’t mix, she says. At an early age Empress Minott passed Common Entrance and attended Litchfield High School where she completed three terms and then migrated to Canada where she was exposed to a larger variety of music. She joined School, church and community choirs to train the unique and melodious voice that she perceives.

Empress Minott has work with reggae artist such as Maxi Priest, Etana, Cocoa Tea, Morgan Heritage, Gyptian, Bush Man, and Capleton. Roy, Conrad Crystal, Sugar Minott, Trilla U, Singing Melody, Blessed, Tanya P, and many other local artists.

She also performed in many places like Jamaica, Canada, and America. She also finished both videos for each song which can be found on TVJ and CVM in Jamaica and TV stations all around the world. Stumbling Blocks have been featured in a Canadian Series called “Da kink in my Hair” which was aired on Global TV on March 19, 2009.”

Living a natural life is very important to Empress Minott. Her desires are for realistic and not materialistic things. She has gone through so many different stages in her life to realize and accepts the fact that being Natural is the Highest Levity in this confused world. “Music is not a joke and that is why it was very necessary for me to find myself so that whatever I deliver to the world in my Music would actually benefit and uplift my people who are lost and cannot find themselves.” Music is Life and Life is good positive Conscious Reggae Music” Empress Minott concluded.
