Uganda Muslim supreme council electoral commission has today sworn-in sheikh Hamza Ahmad Kabala as the newly appointed acting district kadhi of Rakai Muslim district on a one year probation replacing sheikh sulaiman luyinda who has been the acting district kadhi of Rakai Muslim district.

During the meeting in the UMSC conference hall, his eminence the deputy mufti of Uganda sheikh Muhammad Ali Waiswa who represented the the mufti of Uganda who is out of the country on official duties appreciated the outgoing district kadhi of Rakai Muslim district for the tremendous work he has rendered for the Muslim community of Rakai Muslim district.
He appealed to Muslims of Rakai especially Muslim district leaders to work closely with the newly appointed acting district kadhi to enhance islamic development in the district which has had leadership disputes for a long time.
Sheikh Waiswa improred the new kadhi to exhibit the highest levels of trustworthnes and displine since he has just been trusted with the leadership he has not campaigned for.

Meanwhile the secretary general of Uganda Muslim supreme council Hon Hajji Abas sekyanzi muluubya appealed to the leaders to offer leadership guidance to the new district kadhi and avoid involving him in the muslim leadership wrangles that have persisted for so long in the district.
He also used the meeting to blame the Muslim leaders for failing to read the UMSC constitution which was given to all the muslim leaders.
Meanwhile the secretary for religious sheikh Abdunoor Imran Ssali thanked the Muslim leaders of Rakai Muslim district for trusting Uganda Muslim supreme council and promised UMSC support to the new district kadhi.

In his speech to the leaders after swearing-in, the newly appointed acting district kadhi of Rakai Muslim district pleadged to work with all district Muslim leaders and for all the muslims of Rakai Muslim district.
He promised to work towards uniting all muslims in the district and bring back all Muslims together in the district.
On his behalf, the outgoing district kadhi sheikh sulaiman luyinda thanked uganda Muslim supreme council for entrusting him with the Muslim leadership for the time he has served.
He also promised to provide guidance and work with the newly appointed acting district kadhi to development islam in the district thanking the mufti for his wisely wisdom with which he appointed.
