Metro FM 90.8 to Host Afro-Reggae Icon Don Franco Tafari on “Bukedde Butya”

Uganda’s top radio station, Metro FM 90.8, is gearing up to feature one of Africa’s most dynamic Afro-Reggae voices, Don Franco Tafari, on their highly popular morning show, Bukedde Butya this Wednesday 09 April 2025 . Hosted by the lively duo Kabuye Winnie Bulya and DJ Scofield, the episode promises an electrifying conversation.

Tafari, born Lucas Francis Dumhi in Zimbabwe and now based in South Africa, is celebrated for blending Zimbabwean traditional rhythms with the soulful tones of classic Jamaican reggae. With more than 20 years in the music industry, he has gained an international reputation, having toured across Ethiopia, Kenya, Djibouti, and several other countries.
