By Jumah Kakomo and Kabuye Ronald
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Presidential candidate, General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, has assured party members in Kaliro District of a systematic and transparent process to address concerns arising from the recent NRM party primaries. He urged those with credible evidence to present it to the relevant party authorities for proper handling.

General Museveni emphasized that the NRM will carefully assess all submitted evidence and deliver appropriate verdicts on the contested primary elections as cases are brought forward.

He cautioned party members against individuals attempting to sow conflict within the NRM, warning that such disruptions only weaken the party’s unity and progress.

Addressing supporters in Kaliro, General Museveni rallied residents to back the NRM government’s manifesto, highlighting its focus on wealth creation and inclusive development. He unpacked the NRM’s wealth creation strategy, outlining several viable enterprises and citing successful examples from across the country.

The NRM Presidential candidate further revealed plans to tarmac more roads in Kaliro District to boost its existing infrastructure coverage. Speaking at the campaign rally, he also outlined key development interventions in health, education, and electricity meant to uplift the district’s standard of living.

General Museveni concluded by guiding the people of Kaliro on emerging job opportunities in commercial agriculture, manufacturing, and the service sector, urging them to tap into the evolving economic landscape for improved livelihoods.
