The late Joseph Tamale Mirundi

“Condolence message from the Evangelical Orthodox Church Uganda.

This is to express our deepest condolences for the demise of a parent, a friend, political philosopher and a social scientist of our days. Mr. Joseph Tamale Mirundi. We are all stunned by the sad news.

We shall live to remember you when you defended us, and stood by our church in challenging times. Mr. Mirundi gave us courage and visited us at Mamre Prayer Centre regularly when he came to know the truth of the matters.

We remember you as a man who would do research, and when the truth is found, you would always stand by it no matter the intimidations.

Our deepest sympathies to the family and friends. Words can’t describe how sorry we are at this loss. You are all in our prayers.

May you rest in eternal peace” Bishop Kibuuka statement

Mirundi’s burial is scheduled for Sunday, August 18, 2024, at his ancestral village in Kalagala, Kaliisizo, Rakai District. His legacy will be remembered by those he impacted through his service and advocacy.
