Nkumba University is in full swing as it gears up for its 26th graduation ceremony, set to take place this Saturday. This year’s event holds special significance as it coincides with the university’s 30th anniversary, marking three decades of transforming dreams into knowledge and skills.

In a press conference held this morning, Vice Chancellor Prof. Jude T. Lubega, alongside members of the university council and security personnel, outlined key details and guidelines for the upcoming ceremony. Prof. Lubega urged all students and attendees to arrive on time to avoid any inconveniences during the celebration.

With over 1,500 graduands expected to receive their awards, the ceremony will honor 12 individuals who will earn Doctor of Philosophy degrees. The remaining graduates will be recognized for their accomplishments in various programs, including master’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

University Chancellor Mr. Emmanuel Katongole will officiate the ceremony, joined by members of the university council and staff. In preparation for the event, Prof. Lubega reminded graduands to bring along their National IDs or any other identification document to ensure a smooth process when collecting their transcripts.

As Nkumba University celebrates its 30 years of educational excellence, the graduation ceremony is set to be a momentous occasion, showcasing the achievements of its students and the institution’s commitment to fostering knowledge and skills in the community.
